In this class, we will address the question, "How many postures are needed to sufficiently prepare for wheel pose, and other backbends?"
We will address some of the old and current paradigms concerning back bending.
In this class, we will break down the different functions of bodily movement and learn which specific motions may create long-term problems and cause pain, and which moments will increase movement efficacy while stabilizing joints. Our goal is to ultimately create a yoga practice that eliminates pain now and pain in the future.
