What You Need To Get Started
My top recommendations and resources for a successful AYAMA Training experience:
REQUIRED:
- STOP STRETCHING! A New Yogic Approach To Master Your Body and Live Pain-Free, I will be making book references throughout the training and you will be required to submit a book report to complete your certification.
- STOP STRETCHING, the podcast (Available on all streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple) Please listen to episodes 1-4 before continuing.
SUGGESTED:
Join our Facebook Group here.
RECOMMENDED:
Anatomy APPS
During the AYAMA sections of this training, we encourage you to follow along in an anatomy APP. This will allow you to trace and learn where the muscles are in your body.
There are a variety of anatomy APPS available today. We highly recommend these two:
Whichever APP you decide to use, download it on your IPAD/Computer/Phone before you start this training so you have it ready to go at any time to deepen your understanding of your anatomy and specifically your muscles!
Other:
- Autobiography of a Naked Yogi by Yogi Aaron
- Yoga Mat (Best yoga mat ever!)
- Four Yoga Blocks (Dimensions 4" x 6" x 9")
- Yoga Straps (The link will take you to a combo)
- Yoga Blankets (We recommend having at least 4, more if possible)
- Sandbags (Have at least 2 on hand)
- Yoga Chair (Having a proper yoga chair on hand is a game changer! AND in level 3, we will be covering Chair AYAMA!)
- Spinal Molding Blocks (To correct posture and spinal curves): For Neck and For Low Back
