15-Minutes - DON'T DO THIS POSE 🛑 Do this for your shoulders instead‼️

Why "Broken Wing" Pose Is Wrecking Your Shoulders (And What To Do Instead)

Broken wing is one of the most common shoulder "openers" taught in yoga classes — and it's quietly destabilizing the entire shoulder girdle.

In this video, Aaron breaks down why the pose is doing the opposite of what teachers claim it does. Stretching the pecs and forcing extra range of motion in the shoulder joint doesn't create freedom, it creates instability. And instability always leads to injury.

The real issue: weak traps. When the trapezius isn't activating properly, the pecs tighten up as a protective response. Stretching them further only feeds the problem. The fix is activation, not more range of motion you'll never actually use in real life.

Aaron walks through simple trap activation drills you can do lying on your mat, plus a quick range-of-motion test so you can feel the difference in real time.

If you've been chasing more flexibility in your shoulders and still dealing with pain, this one's for you.
